Jovenes del Tango have been organising Afterparties during the annual Tangomagia-festival since 2005. We got inspired from the first Afterparties in 2004 in the infamous and notorious Pick Up Club.
We want to provide an ambient atmosphere for genuine tango-addicts to sustain their festivalmood or cool down from it.
And we hope this will be an annual tradition for as long as it takes.

The Salón de los jóvenes was an informal salon every 3rd Saturday of the month in
cooperation with the Academia de Tango in Amsterdam. The purpose is to create a
different atmosphere than in the common milonga, thus trying to attract
more young people towards the milongas. However the milonga is open to
anyone of any age! |

19 November the Jovenes del Tango organized an hommage to maestro
Osvaldo Pugliese! There was also an online survey with the question:
what is YOUR favorite pugliese song and WHY?
We have received many
reactions and we would like to thank all participants for their
contributions. The most popular song was by far "Desde el alma". The most special entries are listed here: |
